so basically the part of the world they live in wa spartially destroyed by "disposed" nuclear weapons of all sorts, though none as powerful as in the past. (WWII) There were once white butterflys that were found all along the beach,and those tie in with another character for another day. Once the dust died down and the fires wore out, the survivors found that the place they had called home was a desert wasteland, and so went elsewhere. These three come along some time later, and are aparently nearing the coast where there hasn't been life for a long time. The two girls (left to right) Livie and Stella, "broke out" of a rundown children's facility for the orphaned and/or rejected. Milo there on the right is leading them back to a safe place. Safe from what (or whom), you may ask? Ah, but they are about to find out...
